🍳 Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions

  1. Step 1: The Marinade

    1. Combine beef, carrots, pearl onions, herbs, and wine.
    2. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
    3. Strain the mixture.
    4. Separate the liquid from the beef and vegetables.
    5. Boil the wine liquid until reduced by half.

    Step 2: Sear and Sauté

    1. Pat the beef cubes completely dry.
    2. Season beef with salt and pepper.
    3. Heat olive oil in a heavy pot.
    4. Brown beef in batches, then remove.
    5. Cook bacon batons until crisp, then remove.
    6. Sauté mushrooms, onions, and carrots separately.
    7. Remove vegetables from the pan.

    Step 3: Build the Sauce

    1. Melt butter in the same pot.
